Firstly the kites need to be set up, you will be allowed to set them up by yourself to re-enforce what was learnt on the first day with the instructor there to guide you. We use the latest 2010 kites and equipment for maximum safety and usability with thick wetsuits to keep you warm! Once the kites are safely set up we move into the water and continue from the first day with the bodydragging techniques. Once these are succesfully completed we will usually have a short break for food and drink as well as to give you a rest but I am sure you will not want to stop for long as it is now time for the board! |

Once you have been show how to board start, the rest of the kitesurfing lesson will be spent practising this technique and when perfected you will then be shown how to keep the power in the kite and control the board for continuous runs as well as learning how to stop!
During the kitesurf course you will also demonstrate a deep water emergency packdown procedure to re-enforce what was shown to you on the first day of the lesson.
When the course is completed you will be debriefed and we will suggest how to continue from here. We will give you a handout package with all the theory you learnt on the first day, magazine, stickers and information about suitable kites and boards to buy, both second hand and new as well as information about the ex-demo/school kit and discounted equipment package deals that we offer.
What you need to bring with you: Sensible sturdy pair of shoes, towel, swimming costume, suncream, sunglasses, and warm clothes if it’s cold.
There is huge amount to cover and learn in the 2 day kitesurfing course, if you are keen to take up and continue the sport we advise the 3 day kitesurf course.
