Super fun board which is great in low winds and small waves as well as being fantastic for strapless freestyle. The shape and size also makes the RRD Pop ideal as a first surfboard and it’s stability allows you to master riding strapless, practicing your gybes and tacks.
We are down to our very last board which has a tiny ding to one of the bottom corners. It has been professionally repaired bt if you look really closely you’ll find it.
Landing jumps on this board is soft, the wide outline and the surfboard construction developed for kiteboarding is the best answer for a fun time playing on water. This board makes any condition fun and still allows you to ride small surf with speed and great aerials potential. The rail channels help holding the board as well as grabs .
Designed around an entirely new outline with a very wide mid point, rounded outline in the nose and tail make turning and carving very smooth. The squared nose, inspired by the new mini-maxi surfboards increases floating potential on this super short stick, a very wide but gently rounded swallow/fish retrostyle tail increases the drive and POP potential of this modern freestyle /surfboard shape.
Straighter rocker in the mid section with kicked nose makes the RRD Pop kite board perfectly balanced with efficient early planning and top speed. The mono concave hull from nose to tail with a slight tail kick produces smooth water release improving control over choppy water as well as creating a smooth ride and soft landings.

RRD Pop surfboard Technology
Classic construction
The Classic PU construction has been developed to create pure surfboards for pure wave riding and to allow control over choppy waters. We have improved the weight and strength of the boards this year. We are now using a H1–volume lightweight pigment in the resin. This type of resin fills up the holes in the foam and reduces the amount of resin content in the glass fibers, making the boards lighter. The Classic boards have low fiber memory and low foam memory at the same time. This low memory gives our boards a proper surfboard feel. We recommend the Classic PU technology to the riders who love a comfortable ride which this construction provides through its flexibility.
