A Newly Upgraded Beachfront Centre
We are the only kitesurf school in Camber Sands located directly on the beach, operating from our 200m² centre — completely off-grid and powered by 100% green energy.
Following recent investment and redevelopment, the centre now includes a newly renovated beachfront shop, brand-new changing rooms, a dedicated locker room, classrooms and equipment stores, dispatch and repair areas, and high-speed WiFi throughout.
At its heart is the Riders Lounge, our members’ coworking space — somewhere to work remotely, relax between sessions and become part of the community. We’re open 7 days a week.
The Best Wind in the UK — and Two Beaches for Any Direction
Being located on a peninsula gives us some of the strongest wind statistics of any beach on the south or east coast. With consistent sea and thermal breezes, Camber is widely regarded as one of the windiest kitesurf locations in the UK — so your lesson has one of the highest chances of going ahead.
Unlike most south-coast schools, we operate across two beaches just 10 minutes apart — Camber Sands and Greatstone / Littlestone. Because they face different directions, we can run lessons safely whatever the wind angle.
Coaching That Gets You Riding Faster
We believe we have one of the most experienced and highly trained kitesurf teams in the UK. Many of our instructors are senior coaches who have worked at centres worldwide, and several first learned here at Camber before returning season after season.
During private tuition our instructors use two-way radio helmets, giving you live feedback without returning to shore — it feels like having your instructor riding right beside you. Many of the team are multilingual too, teaching in languages including Polish, Romanian and Russian.
The Best Equipment on the Market — Duotone Specialist Centre
As a Duotone specialist centre we use the best equipment in the industry. Our school kit is replaced every year, rotated every 6–8 weeks, available in sizes XS–XXL and paired with warm, high-quality wetsuits.
Our premium Duotone rental fleet is also replaced annually and maintained to the highest standard, so you’re always riding the latest gear. We run free demo opportunities to test before you buy, and offer full hire — wetsuits, harnesses, buoyancy aids and helmets — for riders who have completed lessons.
Safety Conscious, Always
Keeping you safe while you have fun is our primary concern. We operate with comprehensive, regularly reviewed risk assessments, daily equipment inspections and frequent kit rotation. Our instructors carry radios, whistles and safety knives, and we run a safety boat plus additional safety craft — so the team can always choose the fastest, most effective response.
We’re accredited under BKSA, IKO and BSUPA standards, so you’re always learning within nationally and internationally recognised systems.
We hold an East Sussex & Rother District Council licence and operate within a dedicated teaching zone at Camber Sands, giving students safe space to learn and progress, away from the crowds.

Camber Sands is one of the closest kitesurfing beaches to central London — just 40 miles south. Reach us easily by train, car, lift share or bus, with a large free car park right by the beach.
