Kitesurf equipment hire — full kitesurf setups (kite, bar, board, harness, wetsuit, buoyancy aid), kite or board-only options, twin tip and directional surf-style boards.
Wingfoiling hire — wings, boards and foil setups, as full packages or individual equipment.
Kite buggy & landboarding hire — kite buggies, landboards, trainer and power kites.
Stand up paddleboard (SUP) hire — SUP boards with wetsuit and buoyancy aid included.

It’s ideal for riders who want maximum time on the water, prefer travelling light or using public transport, don’t want the hassle of owning or maintaining gear, and want consistent access to premium equipment.
To ensure safety on the water, all riders must have completed a recognised kitesurfing course (BKSA / IKO or equivalent), demonstrate a competent level of riding ability, be able to control and relaunch a kite independently, understand basic self-rescue techniques, be confident riding in variable wind conditions, and understand local beach and safety zones.
First-time hires may require a short on-site ability check (approximately 10 minutes) before equipment is released. If conditions or ability are not suitable, we may recommend a refresher lesson instead — safety always comes first.
All riders must use equipment within their ability level; understand wind, tide and local conditions; follow the designated kitesurf zones at Camber Sands and Greatstone; hold appropriate third-party liability insurance (BKSA recommended); be capable of performing a self-rescue in offshore conditions; and make safe decisions based on changing weather. We reserve the right to refuse hire if conditions or ability are not suitable.
For safety and equipment protection, we do not hire equipment in sustained winds over around 25 knots. All hire sessions are subject to tide and beach conditions, and high tide at Camber Sands may restrict riding areas. Please check conditions before arrival or speak to our team if unsure.
