A Fully Immersive Kitesurf Learning Experience

We pride ourselves on delivering the safest and most effective introduction to kitesurfing. This course is built around realistic, fun progression with maximum time on the beach and in the water — not in a classroom.

You’ll learn alongside the same instructor all weekend, allowing for personalised coaching, consistent feedback and faster skill development.

No group? No problem. You don’t need to bring friends — we’ll place you in a friendly group of similar ability. Of course, you’re welcome to book together if you want to learn with friends.

What You’ll Learn Over The Weekend

This immersive course is designed to take you from beginner to your first rides on the board.

You’ll learn:

  • Safe equipment setup and risk assessment• Kite control and flying skills• Body dragging downwind and upwind• Self rescue and safety systems• Waterstarts and board control• First rides and longer runs

By the end of the weekend, you’ll have the skills and confidence to continue progressing toward independent riding.

How the Weekend Works

Friday — Kite Control & Foundations

Your journey starts on the beach and in the water learning the most important skill in kitesurfing: flying the kite with confidence and control.

You’ll cover:• Equipment setup and safety checks• Risk assessment and understanding conditions• Flying the kite and power control

Practice is key — and this day is all about building strong foundations.

Saturday — Power & Body Dragging

Saturday is typically the most active day of the camp.

You’ll feel the power of the kite as you learn:• Downwind body dragging• Directional body dragging• Upwind body dragging• Essential kite control skills

You’ll also learn self rescue techniques, giving you the skills to handle real situations safely.

By the end of the day you’ll be ready to add the board.

Sunday — Board Starts & First Rides

This is the day everyone waits for.

You’ll begin waterstarts and board riding, working in pairs to maximise practice time.

Expect:• First successful board starts• Short rides in both directions• Rapid progression and lots of smiles

This is the moment the kitesurfing addiction begins.

Monday — Practice, Progress & Debrief

Your final day is all about combining your new skills and building confidence.

You’ll enjoy more time on the water to:• Extend rides• Improve consistency• Build independence

You’ll finish with a personal debrief and progression plan, including recommendations for your next steps and your student logbook to track progress.

Small Groups = Faster Progress

We teach in groups of maximum four students per instructor, ensuring:

  • Plenty of kite time• Individual feedback• Safer learning environment• Faster progression

Fewer students can mean slightly shorter daily sessions, but you’ll benefit from more one-to-one coaching and still achieve the same progression.

Weather Flexibility & Lesson Credits

Kitesurfing is weather dependent, so we run the weekend flexibly to make the most of the best conditions. This may mean adjusting session lengths or including beach-based training such as landkiting or kite buggying if the wind is light. These sessions still build essential kite and board skills that accelerate your overall progression.

If weather limits your lesson time:

  • Any unused hours are credited as a voucher• Credits are valid for 12 months• We recommend the best next lessons for your level
