Used Equipment Warranty Policy, The Kitesurf Centre
6 Month Warranty provided with all used kitesurfing equipment.
At The Kitesurf Centre, we do our utmost to ensure that any used kitesurfing equipment we sell is carefully checked, serviced and inspected by our team before sale and is free from major defects in materials or workmanship.
Because of this, we provide a 6 month warranty on all used kitesurf gear for your peace of mind.
If an item develops a genuine warrantable fault within 6 months of purchase, The Kitesurf Centre will repair and return the item, or provide a suitable replacement or solution where repair is not possible.
This warranty is valid only when equipment is used for normal recreational kitesurfing within manufacturer recommended wind ranges and intended use.
What the warranty covers
• Defects in materials or workmanship
• Faults that occur during normal recreational kitesurfing use
• Equipment that fails despite being used correctly and maintained appropriately
Warranty exclusions
Kitesurfing is an extreme sport and equipment is exposed to heavy loads, salt water, sand and UV. The following are not covered under this warranty:
• Damage caused by misuse, abuse or neglect
• Damage caused by improper mounting, rigging or adjustment of hardware
• Damage caused by crashes, impacts or heavy slams
• Damage caused by self-launching or self-landing
• Damage caused by use outside manufacturer recommended wind range or intended use
• Normal wear and tear, cosmetic wear, fading or UV degradation
• Punctures, tears or impact damage
• Damage caused by sand, salt, poor storage or lack of maintenance
• Damage caused by anything other than defects in material or workmanship
All warranty coverage is void if any modification, alteration or unauthorised repair has been made to the product after purchase.
Any repaired or replaced product will be covered for the remainder of the original warranty period only.
Warranty claim process
If you believe your equipment has developed a fault:
Contact us as soon as possible with photos and a description of the issue
Return the item to The Kitesurf Centre for inspection (return postage is the customer's responsibility)
Our team will assess whether the issue is covered under warranty
If the issue is confirmed as a warranty claim, we will repair, replace or provide an appropriate solution at our discretion.
