The kite foil front wing is the most influential component in your foil setup – it determines lift, speed, stability and turning feel. A larger hydrofoil front wing generates more lift at lower speeds, making it ideal for light wind and learning, while a smaller wing offers higher top speeds and sharper carving.
Front wings are measured by surface area (typically 600cm2 to 1800cm2) and come in a variety of aspect ratios. High aspect wings are long and narrow, favouring speed and glide. Low aspect wings are shorter and wider, offering more stability and slower stall speeds.
We carry front wings from Duotone, North, F-One and other brands. When upgrading or expanding your quiver, adding a second front wing is one of the best investments you can make – a large wing for light days and a smaller one for powered conditions covers almost everything. Check compatibility with your fuselage before ordering. Our team can help you choose the right wing area and aspect ratio for your weight and riding style.
