PWA FIN RACING · SLALOM
Duotone’s fin racing slalom sail, in red (5.2 to 6.2 m²) or turquoise/black (6.7 to 9.0 m²). Made-to-order purchases: allow 12–18 weeks, delivered directly by Duotone, with full payment upfront.
PWA FIN RACING · SLALOM
A fin racing slalom sail built to be rigged to its markers and raced straight from the bag.
The Warp_Fin is Duotone’s fin racing sail for PWA-style slalom and course racing. Take it out of the bag, rig it to the trim markers and it is ready to race, with no hours lost hunting for the perfect trim.
For 2027 Duotone has made two structural changes. Overlapping Seams join neighbouring panels so they carry load as one unit. That reduces distortion under pressure, sends power more directly to the board and helps the sail keep its shape in gusts. The new Hybrid Batten Construction then places glass and carbon battens by position. Glass battens widen the low-end planing range and keep the sail manageable in short, steep chop, while carbon battens stiffen the upper sections for quicker acceleration and a steadier shape in strong winds.
The 5.2 has been reworked on its own for more precise control in high winds, and the 9.0 is back in the range.
Every size has seven battens and four cambers. Hyper Cam 2.0 sets camber tension with a single Torx screw instead of spacers, even on a fully rigged sail, so you can switch between maximum drive and quicker rotation in seconds. Its exposed rollers keep rotation light and even on all SDM mast diameters. The high-aspect design, most marked in the bigger sizes, shortens the boom and moves the profile forward, so the rig feels lighter in your hands at the top of its wind range.
Batten tension is set before the sail reaches you. iRocket 2.0 calibrates each batten at the factory with a torque wrench and the screws are locked with thread glue. VTS 2.0 markers in the top panel show the downhaul setting, HTS 2.0 shows where your harness lines should sit, and Double Seam Technology cuts panel bending-elongation by up to 50%.
The 2027 Warp_Fin comes in seven sizes: 5.2, 5.7 and 6.2 m² in red, and 6.7, 7.7, 8.5 and 9.0 m² in turquoise/black. It is designed for SDM masts only; the rigging table below lists the recommended mast for each size. Select a colour and size above.
Allow 12–18 weeks from order for made-to-order purchases. Duotone builds and delivers your sail directly. Pay the full amount upfront in one checkout with The Kitesurf Centre. Orders containing other items may arrive in separate shipments; applicable shipping charges are shown at checkout.

New for 2027. Neighbouring panels are bonded into one load-bearing unit, so the sail holds its shape in gusts and drives power straight to the board.
New for 2027. Glass battens extend low-end planing and handle chop, while carbon battens in the upper sections speed up acceleration in strong winds.
Camber tension adjusts with a single Torx screw instead of spacers, even when the sail is fully rigged.
Three size-dependent design concepts match each sail size to the wind it will be used in, and the 2027 5.2 has been reworked for high-wind control.
A high-aspect outline, most marked in the larger sizes, shortens the boom and moves the profile forward to reduce effort at the top of the wind range.
Tested in real race conditions against competitor sails by the Duotone race team.
| Size (m²) | Boom max (cm) | Luff max (cm) | Mast length (cm) | Weight (kg) |

| 5.7 | 188 | 426 | 400 | 5.10 |

All sizes: fixed top, 7 battens, 4 cambers, SDM mast only. Recommended mast: Duotone PLATINUM for every size, with GOLD as the alternative from 6.7 m². Sizes 5.2 to 6.2 come in red and 6.7 to 9.0 in turquoise/black. Duotone states that the sails will not work with masts outside these recommendations. Follow the sail’s trim markings and manufacturer instructions.
Tech features
The same layout on every size helps keep the Warp among the lightest slalom sails available.
Batten pockets resist stretch and do not absorb water, so dry weight equals wet weight.
Each batten is calibrated at the factory with a torque wrench and the screws are locked with thread glue.
Printed markers show the downhaul setting in the top panel and the harness line position on the sail body.
Reduces panel bending-elongation by up to 50% for a more stable profile.
Reduces blow-out and hinge effect for more power and direct acceleration.
A fully integrated, lightweight protector guards the sail without adding bulk.
