Always improving, always streamlining – that’s how our best products are crafted, and our latest upgrades to the Stealth are no exception. As our most lightweight harness to date, the Stealth weighs in at just 1018g (or 2,24lb) based on a size M. All this is due to the Stealth’s shape and padding, which is now built in 3D, giving us a minimal yet smooth grip all around. Freedom of movement is optimized by removing height from the sides, which also reduces the pressure points when riding. The Battlebelt is now thinner and half the thickness of what it used to be, saving on weight and minimizing friction. To round it off, the Stealth features our new Flexcover storage system with an integrated safety knife pocket.

This Harness comes without a spreader bar. Stealth Kite bar Gen 3,  can be purchased separately.

The Bionic Core Frame scores 9/10 on the stiffness index, but it still has a 6/10 torsion flex, which means it’s able to twist and follow the movement of your body. The Carbon composite enhances the stiffness to kitesurf comfortably and in control in the most extreme conditions.

Mystic Carbon Harnesses

When the Mystic carbon harness first came out, we just thought they were just jumping on the ‘carbon band wagon’ that a lot of extreme sports have done recently, but after testing it in strong winds and powered situations, we can confirm they’ve designed something truly amazing.

Usually when you’re powered and hanging on, your harness doesn’t do much to support your back and often you suffer from fatigue or pulled muscles and feel like you’ve been badly beaten at the end of it all, and are glad to get the kite landed. But with the Mystic Carbon & Fibreglass harnesses you don’t get that targeted strain on your lower back from the pressure the pull of the kite creates, it really does spread the load evenly across the whole harness.

If you like to ride powered or suffer from lower back injuries or pain then the extra cost of the carbon harness over the fibreglass versions really is worth it, as there are no flex points on the carbon which helps with even distribution of pull and protects weaker or damaged muscles from old injuries. This is also what really sets it aside from the Ride Engine harness as well.

We do have the Mystic Majestic X Harness available to demo if you want to see for yourself, they really do blow our mind. We never thought we’d spend over £300 on a harness but now we can’t see how ever lived without it!

The 2022 F-One Platinum 3 Bindings are able to fit all types of feet whilst ensuring the best connection with your board. The pad offers the most amazing feel while riding, and absorb the impacts. The straps lock your feet to the pad in the ideal position.

To obtain the highest quality pads, F-one has chosen an injected process that permits various forms and densities and created a dual-density pad for an optimized comfort: the edge areas are denser for a better support while the foot bed areas are softer for more comfort. Using a unique process that allows generating all possible forms while picking the best EVA foam density.

Because a pad is those two essential things: a form and a foam. The F-ONE strap is fully adjustable to the size and shape of the foot. This year the quality of the strap was improved also, which is now filled with gel foam for a fantastic comfort. Its neoprene coating is combined with a base in injected plastic.

There are three tuning axes to set the 2022 F-one PLATINUM 3 BINDINGS on the board for an optimum riding position:

  • Angle: from 0° to 24°, you can select the foot angle that fits you the best.
  • Foot Position: you can slide the F-one PLATINUM 3 BINDINGS forth or back on the board to place your feet at the right distance from the edge of the board.
  • Stance: all F-ONE boards offer three settings for the spacing of your feet.

Three types of controls depending on the size of your feet for an amazing comfort:

  • Height

A refined construction:

  • Dual-density pad for an optimised comfort:the edge areas are denser for a better support while the foot bed areas are softer for more comfort
  • Combination of a fine anti-slip texture with a layer of thermoformed EVA to offer a perfect grip.
  •  Assembly based on a light but solid base plate.
  • The PLATINUM 3 BINDINGS form a block which can be positioned and fastened easily on the boards (requiring only two screws). They can also be transported easily without losing your finely tuned setup.

An ergonomic pad shape:

  • Optimised slope: the whole pad is canted towards the inside of the board to keep the feet perpendicular to the legs.
  • Dedicated grab ridge in toe area.
  • Specific support area under the foot arch.
  • Wide heel area to let you angle your foot as you feel like depending on your riding.
  • Lateral comfort flanges to protect your feet from the plastic straplocks.

A new generation footstrap:

  • A thermoformed structure combined with a gel foam core provide the footstraps with an ideal comfort and support.

Lightweight minimal design

We’ve balanced simplicity and support with a single fastening strap, and we’ve optimised the footbed thickness and durometer for cushioned comfort.

Super-fast assembly with maximum adjustability

Simply drop the entire binding onto the board and insert the screw where you want it. The intuitive Flex connection system uses standardised M6x16mm screw hardware to fasten the binding to the board in various positions with easy stance adjustment to suit all riders. The oval hole allows for both 6”- 6.5” industry standard screw spacings.

Anatomical comfort with grip when wet

Lightweight, durable, and impact absorbing, with the grip pattern height increased for added comfort, its forward-angled anti-slip serration pattern helps your foot stay in place on various angles. The shock-absorbing footbed is ergonomically angled to encourage optimised weight distribution and knee alignment, provide core support and reduce pressure on your feet, knees, hips and back.

Seamless KnitFlex top strap

Our unique seamless KnitFlex lining is pre-tensioned and laminated to the conforming foam inner, so it can create a 3D-curve without any bunching or creasing, and there’s no stitching to rub on your foot.

Extended lateral arch supports

The arch supports are extended inside the strap to ensure comfort where the top strap meets the footbed, protecting your foot from the most rigid load-bearing part of the binding. No blisters, no hard edges.

Raised toe grip

The new softer toe bar has been engineered to suit different foot shapes, allowing the rider to grip on with toes and prevent your foot from slipping out during high rotation tricks and landings.

Two size options

We have found it’s more to do with the shape and angle of your upper foot than foot length when aiming for the most effective fit. Positioning and adjustment settings are printed on the binding to make setup simple and intuitive. With more labels printed on the binding than ever, you’ll never have to refer to the User Manual again.

The all-new North Flex LX Bindings 2023 have a sense of luxury that speaks to the perfect balance between performance and design. Cushioning. Support. Shock absorption.  Engineered to help absorb and disperse impact after gravity-defying boosts, with triple-density dynamic support technology to protect your heels and guarantee softer landings.
We’ve added structure and stability with a more contoured footbed and ramped chassis for improved fit and increased lateral support. Outer angled heel inserts ensure your foot rolls properly, providing a stable landing and protecting your knees and ankles when loading up to release into the air. The GripFlex lightweight, rubberized EVA inner maintains grip underfoot when wet, while the fine grip pattern helps keep you locked in on various angles, preventing your foot from sliding out of the binding. We’ve refined the adjustable injection-Velcro top flap to provide a strong yet flexible hold. The strap has a soft foam and KnitFlex seamless lining with split-Velcro fastenings. These provide custom comfort and allow your foot to shuffle more easily into a locked-in position. For your ultimate fit, ensure there’s enough room for your toes to stretch and flex, and make sure the strap doesn’t slip or rub. The upper should feel secure, but not too tight, and the footbed should match the shape of your foot.
The Flex LX are compatible with both our new 2023 FlipTech centreline and 2020-2022 offline TwinTip mounting systems. Industry-standard screw spacings ensure they can also be fitted to other boards.
