Super sticky surfboard and SUP wax to really keep your feet locked on
After a year of research & testing, the ultimate weapon to improve your strapless & SUP level is now OUT! Being not sticky enough and not working on pads, we found that standard Surf wax was not designed for either SUP or Kitesurf because when you paddle on a regular surf you can’t have a wax that is too sticky against your body. One thing that SUPer or kitesurfer don’t care about. So we developed the MANERA “Magic Wax” especially for strapless kiteboarding & SUP use.
Here is why the Manera Magic Wax makes the difference:
– Extremely sticky
– Works on pads
– Doesn’t melt in the sun
– 100% natural ingredients – non toxic
– Our wax is handcrafted with love in Biarritz, France
– Don’t be afraid of strapless moves or radical SUP re-entries anymore!
Instructions:
– Dry and clean your board and pad
– Apply Manera base coat wax (even on pads) and then the Ultra sticky layer

Having worked on ergonomic designs for a while, our goal was to push our frame concept to more stiffness, allowing a better support of the back & a lower fit. But something 100% hard was not an option: Our back needs some adaptability & human morphology is unique.
So here comes the ECLIPSE, a skilful balance between stiffness & flex that brings support where you need it and the freedom to move the way you want.
2022 Manera Eclipse Harness Features
The Adaptive Shell stiffness shades from hard in the center area to softer on the edges. The stiff center-belt prevents the harness from folding and compressing your body while preserving a good lumbar support. The softer outline preserves intuitive mobility and adaptability.
It results in a shell that is forgiving where you need flex and stiff where you want support.

The gel foam disperses pressure evenly & efficiently to provide a “pillow comfort”, much appreciated during long sessions
It creates a different sense of feeling while riding as it moves along with your movements, therefore the contact with the harness is more intuitive & it prevents any rash or rubbing discomfort.
Because there’s nothing worse than a harness that rides up during your sessions, we developed the DOWN HOLD SYSTEM, an asymmetrical attachment that distributes the forces downward.
Secured in its original position, the hook does not ride back up.
The TUCK FLAPS further assist the DOWN HOLD SYSTEM using the flaps positioned on the ends of the spreader bar and inserted into the harness. Once the straps are tightened, they are compressed and locked.
By stiffening the connection between the harness and the buckle, they prevent it from riding up.
We wanted to avoid unpleasant lateral contraction of the harness on the chest, which is why we adapt our spreader bar to harness sizes.
A well suited spreader bar will pull along both sides of the harness, while a spreader bar that is too small will pull with an acute angle, putting pressure on the rider and causing troublesome pain.
It is difficult to improve a harness like the Manera EXO 2.0 Harness, but the development of the ECLIPSE has taught us a lot and we have used this experience to redesign our star harness. We applied Adaptive Shell Technology to the EXO model to provide better support, reduced weight and increased durability.
Thanks to a stiffer center area, the EXO 2.0 perfectly supports the back. However, it allows greater freedom of movement thanks to its different levels of rigidity, especially its flexible outline.
The soft part of the EXO 2.0 is built in one “Single foam”. The single foam doesn’t absorb any water, so the harness stays light and comfy once in use.
KEY FEATURES
Adaptive shell The Adaptive Shell stiffness shades from hard in the center area to softer on the edges. The stiff center-belt prevents the harness from folding and compressing your body while preserving a good lumbar support.
Single foam
The EXO 2.0 uses a single thermoform mould to make a one-piece foam backing. It absorbs far less water and is much lighter than the multiple foam layups used in some harnesses.
Tuck flap
By stiffening the connection between the harness and the buckle, they prevent it from riding up.

Single foam
Comfort is paramount in any harness; the UNION uses a single injection mould to make a one-piece foam backing. This makes it exceedingly durable, as there are less parts to be glued or stitched together. It absorbs far less water and is much lighter than the multiple foam layups used in some harnesses.

By separating the functions of “effort management” and “comfort”, the Manera Halo Harness adapts perfectly to your body type and your movements, while offering unparalleled support.
It all started from an analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of current harness technologies, regarding in particular the softshell (the classic flexible harness) and the hardshell (the rigid shell harness):
The Softshell
The softshell provides perfect adaptability to the user’s body type and movements. But it becomes distorted under the pressure of the kite: The user’s sides are compressed. It therefore has good adaptability, but little hold.
The Hardshell
The hardshell does not become distorted under the pressure of the kite: The user’s sides are not compressed. But it has no adaptability to the user’s body type and movements. It therefore has a very good hold, but little adaptability.
By separating the functions of “effort management” and “comfort”, we have created a harness that adapts perfectly to your body type and your movements, while offering unparalleled support.

Manera Halo Harness SIZECHART
OUR EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE IN HARNESS MANUFACTURING ALLOWED US TO DEVELOP THE HALO SIZING JUST RIGHT.
In order to offer the best experience to all our customers, we have added two sizes: S+ and M+. These two new sizes are the exact same harnesses as the standard S and M, except there are equipped with a longer spreaderbar.
Why?
The body can take two different shapes:
– A rounder shape (someone with a big belly)
– A more oval shape (someone with larger hips)
For the same waist girth, we can then have two completely different morphologies. By integrating longer spreaderbar, the S+ and M+ harnesses are
made for people with larger hips.
PRODUCT TECHNOLOGIES
Adaptive shell
Our Research and Development approach is to create the best possible product, so we have sought to use the advantages of the two current technologies while eliminating their faults. This is how the “Adaptive Shell” was born.
This patented technology is made up of two main parts: The Adaptive skin and the Hardshell.
By separating the functions of “effort management” and “comfort”, we have created a harness that adapts perfectly to your body type and your movements, while offering unparalleled support.
Adaptive skin
The Adaptive skin is a support skin made of a flexible material providing the user maximum adaptability and freedom of movement.
It is directly in contact with the body; its function is to provide comfort.
Hardshell
The Hardshell is a rigid arc; it prevents the harness from bending and thus compressing the user’s body under the strong pressure of the kite.
It is not in contact with the user nor with the back of the Adaptive skin; its function is to manage the mechanical pressure that the harness receives.
Durability
A product is as durable as the least durable part of its components.
The different components of a harness are often non-replaceable (sewn straps, glued foams, etc.) and certainly not recyclable. Therefore, sometimes a worn or damaged part forces you to throw away the entire product.
In an effort to reduce our carbon footprint and in order to provide better customer service, all HALO components are assembled without glue or seams so that each part is easily replaceable.
We stock spare parts and are able to replace each of them. The ARC spreaderbar, the sliding rope, and the kitenife are included with purchase.
Direct contact
Thanks to our Adaptive shell technology, and in particular the very adaptable Skin part, there is no longer a need to use large, thick foam for comfort. The HALO’s ultra-thin neoprene foam provides several advantages over a conventional harness:
. A more direct feeling . Less bulky contact . Lighter, even when in the water
Fitting
In order to optimize the customer experience, we have added two sizes: S+ and M+. These two new sizes are in fact the standard S and M harnesses equipped with longer spreaderbars.
Why?
Bodies may assume different shapes: . A more rounded shape (someone with a big belly) . A more oval shape (someone with wide hips).
For the same waist size, we therefore have two completely different body types. By incorporating longer spreaderbars, sizes S+ and M+ are more suitable for people with wider hips.
Leash attachement
Our kite leash attachment point is located towards the front of the harness, allowing easy and direct access for release in case of an emergency.Attached to the straps on the right-hand side by default, the metal ring can easily be moved to the left straps.
W A R N I N G : NAISH leashes are not adapted to the size of our metal ring, and it could present a safety hazard during release. We are currently working on a new version of the ring.
Arc spreaderbar
The ARC is a new generation spreaderbar developed to offer a more precise, comfortable navigation experience, with a harness that is better held in place.
Clip-system
The ARC’s clip system is locked once closed, allowing smooth and precise navigation without having any slack in the bar.
Tuckflaps 2.0
The tuckflaps are now more rigid and directly molded with the spreaderbar. Once inserted into the harness, not only do they more efficiently prevent the bar from going up, but they also have an anti-compression feature which prevents kite power from folding the harness around your ribs.
SST core
The ARC is constructed with a sturdy stainless steel core capable of withstanding loads of 800kg, which is well above normal kite standards.
Hook/Sliding
The ARC is easily convertible between the standard hook and the sliding rope. The soft part on the back is easily removable with any flat tool, even a coin.
Mystic Neoprene socks are ideal for keeping your feet warm on the colder sessions whilst still allowing good board feel, great for both twin tip and surfboard riding.
The 2mm soft touch neoprene and no sole also means you can fit into some kiteboard footstraps which do not adjust big enough for a full wetsuit boot.
Also very useful as an additional layer to wear inside full wakeboard boot/bindings, keeping your feet warm and toasty through the colder months
Glued and blind stitched seams reduce water entry to keep your feet as dry as possible. If paired with Mystic velcro leg straps to tighten up the ankle seam you can make a very good barrier from the water.
