By using parts that are already in use by multiple brands, and thus thoroughly tested, we can guarantee a bar that functions even in the most demanding settings.
The Peter Lynn Commander Bar is built so that it’s simple and straight forward, has easy replaceable parts it needed, and it very strong, tough and durable.

The all new Compass Bar has been redesigned with an all new Quick Release with easy Click Recovery. Many new features such as Ceramic Ball Bearings, Pre-Stretched SK75 lines, 3D grip, Replaceable Loops and with new looks, the Compass bar is all you need.
The Compass Bar LEI replaces the Navigator, Aviator and Magnet Bar. The bar comes in 2 versions; the LEI and FOIL version, but they are interchangeable. The LEI version comes with 22m lines, and can be easily fitted with a 5th line and brake line so that it can also be used on depower foil kites. The FOIL version comes with 18m lines and includes a brake line.

ISO 21853 Safety Standard for Quick Release Systems Certified
The PL Compass bar comes with the ISO standard 21853 certification. This certificate has been introduced in 2020 to standardise and safety check all quick release safety systems. It shows that the Quick Release has been tested and shall withstand a load of 3 times the maximum user weight of 120kg equal to 3600 N without any breakage and shall still function as intended.
One Hand-Recovery
The PLKB Compass bar has been designed to be as easy as possible. You can easily recover the opened Quick Release when laying in the water hanging on to your kite. With a simple click you can push the QR loop back and continue riding.
Ceramic Ball Bearing
The PLKB Compass bar comes with ceramic ball bearing swivel. This makes twisting the bar super smooth and keep your lines untwisted. The Ball Bearing its open so sand flushes out easily.

The Compass bar has been made with only with highest quality SK75 lines. These lines can handle up to 425KG and are braid to perfection. Lines with Anti-Twist, Minimal Stretch and UV protected for maximum durability and safety. All lines are black with colour coded connectors for cook proof attachment. The power lines are split after 8m to prevent your bar from sliding all the way to the kite after pulling the safety.
ONE bar for all
The Compass bar has an option in the leader lines to add a brake line. This could convert the Compass LEI Control bar to be used for foil kites. Also a 5th line can be added to be used in the snow or for the 5-lines kites.

FLEX STRUT EVO SLS
The counterpart to a stiff frame are the Flex Struts, between middle and tip struts. They ensure a direct and very reactive feel of SLS kites. PENTA TX
Penta TX, the guarantee for a sportier, more precise and crisper feel of the kite, achieved by 15% less overall weight and a five times higher tear resistance. It replaces Dacron and is showing 50% less elongation compared to standard Dacron. Penta TX is a quite stiff material, resulting in a high structural stiffness. We tested this kite when it was released and were hugely impressed by it’s flying characteristics. Some of the Neo models in the past have been rather sluggish in the turn and we found too grunty for a true park and surf wave kite. The 2023 Neo, both SLS and D/Lab have changed our perception of using a Duotone kite in the waves or hydrofoil. The D/lab especially has amazing drift, it will just sit there and hang when you ride towards it on the wave or when foiling. The turning speed and response has been significantly improved, the 2023 Neo is very intuitive, just touch the bar and it reacts, even when the kite is underpowered or with slack lines as you ride towards it. We also really enjoyed its improved efficiency and ability to fly forwards in the window. In the past the Neo used to just sit there and pull, we often found it used to pull you off the wave, not so with the 2023 D/Lab which still has the power on tap but if you want to dump it, head upwind or drift around when foiling, it will sit further forwards in the window and cut through the air…A magnificent kite which is now one of ur favourites for all round free riding, foiling and out in the waves.
