This 12m Airush DNA 2017 has been used for less than 6 months in our school,it is in great condition and will live through a lot more use in the hands of a progressing rider.
The Airush DNA has become the favoured kite in our school and everyone that uses them has great fun. The kites are ultra stable, have extremely easy re-launch, smooth power delivery, fast turning and a massive wind range.
Discipline: Entry level/ Allrounder
The DNA has been the kite of choice to be used in our school for the past 5 years due to its simple ease of use and rock solid reliable construction. The Airush DNA 2017 is no different, now using higher quality canopy material and enhanced traling edge re-enforcement adding to the performance and longevity of the kite plus the addition of the 17m size.
There is no easier kite to use on the market, it is super stable, amazingly easy water re-launch, smooth and predicatable power delivery, responsive turning and big depower offering a large wind range with big sweet spot. These characteristics also make the 2017 Airush DNA a fantastic freeride kite that is great in the waves and jumping.

The focus of the DNA is to make the best kite possible for riders entering into kiteboarding. The DNA boasts a super easy set up, is extremely predictable and has instant relaunch with all the safety systems found in the entire Airush range. This kite is essential to first time riders.
Not only predictable, the DNA takes the platform from the award winning Lithium to guarantee that this kite has the ability to grow with your progression from the very beginning to end. Freeride, Jumping and Wave Riding are all found in the DNA.
The LAB – kite design of the Airush DNA 2017
The Delta Hybrid design in conjunction with the V3 bridle gives the Airush kite a whole new meaning to performance and feeling. Displaying direct and pivotal turning, the Delta Hybrid insures a great balance of speed and response. Due to the swept wingtips and profile, the Delta Hybrid has instant relaunch capabilities making this shape ideal for all-around and entry level riders.

The DNA has been designed around the entry level rider who wishes to have a kite that they can learn on and progress with over a long period of time. The overall layout of the DNA is similar to our all-around Lithium kite, with some subtle changes that you will notice as you progress. The DNA in general has a bit larger Leading Edge than the Lithium, which adds more stability but also reduce the speed of the kite making ideal for new-comers who have a tendency to overfly. The DNA has the most wingtip sweep in the range making it the easiest kite in our range to relaunch essential for anyone who is dropping their kite often.

V3 Bridal System
The V3 bridle system contributes significantly to the feeling and performance of supported leading edge kites, in addition the total depower adds immensely to the safety benefits. The positioning of the bridle attachment points on the LE of the kite, combined with the V pulleys, give a range of movement. The result is steering that is light, but direct enough to feel where your kite is while riding. This also enables the kite to be steered and controlled when the kite is completely de-powered, which is ideal for wave riding.
