Much more than an icon and a best-seller, the 2021 F-One Mitu Pro Bamboo is first and foremost Mitu’s board, and this means one thing: the board is always at the top of its game, year after year, just like the man himself.

Mitu is very meticulous and involved when it comes to his Pro Model. There are no shortcuts when he is testing. His approach is fueled by a lot of curiosity and an acute ability to analyse how the board works. Totally focused from day one, he invests all his experience into the tests. Offshore, side-off, onshore, Ponta Preta, Kite-Beach, surfing, jumping, the board has to fulfil the dreams of what Mitu needs, it rips in all conditions.
The 2021 F-One Mitu Pro Bamboo is available in 5 sizes from 5’2 to 5’10 and takes advantage of our full bamboo construction to offer the fantastic Mitu shape in a simple package using the excellent properties of natural bamboo for a light, responsive and durable board.
With the compact outline, the single deep concave remains the DNA of the MITU PRO MODEL, it is this unique shape that helps the board get on the plane early, accelerate in an instant and give directional stability.
Comfort has been improved by a double concave in the front section making your ride smoother than ever. Travelling along the bottom of the board, the concave fades progressively towards the back where an increased kick in the tail rocker helps make the turns tight and effortless.
Combined with thin rails towards the rear, the fishtail offers the best combination between planing, stability, turning and pop.

The largest sizes have a bit more emphasis on the planing ability and general stability, while the smaller sizes have more focus on manoeuvrability. All share the same shape features with their specific outline to make the most of the wave’s energy.
Built with a full bamboo layers on the bottom and two on the deck, the boards are incredibly durable and remain lightweight.
Equipped with a tail pad, some foot strap inserts and with three Futures boxes the 2021 F-One Mitu Pro Bamboo comes with a thruster fin set and the possibility to add a front pad as an option if desired.
Board Characteristics
HD FOAM FLEX COMPOSITE
The introduction of this construction has marked a major change into the F-ONE surfboard range and especially on our three key products.
To face the ever higher constrains applied by the riders on their surfkites F-ONE has engineered a new foam composite construction with optimized flex for maximum reliability, comfort and manoeuvrability. The mechanical characteristics achieved by this construction provide a lighter weight and a perfect surfboard feel.
DECK STRINGERS
As the strapless discipline develops and grows, so does the demands it puts on the boards.
With higher jumps and tougher landings, the stresses applied to the boards have migrated towards the rails and we have reinforced some of our constructions with lateral deck stringers to make the boards more robust in these areas. These stringers are not full depth to keep the flex and feel of the board.
RTM TECHNOLOGY
RTM technology stands for RESIN TRANSFER MOLDING.
This process uses a closed mold to produce accurate composite parts.
The resin is injected in the mold after it is closed, with the dry fiber having been placed inside beforehand. The closed mold injection allows for great shape accuracy and the epoxy resin used make the fins stronger and more responsive providing a sharper feel on the water.
