A Gravity Foil is an intuitive foil to use. It generates lift at low (and even very low) speed, but does it in a smooth way so you can keep your balance easily. The wings are designed to be easy to roll and turn, so they can perform in the surf.
The range includes four sizes from 1200 to 2200 cm². Foils with more area, such as the 1800 and 2200 provide more lift, but we made sure they also come with more aspect ratio to maintain glide and avoid unnecessary drag. Their shape provide great stability, combined with the high lift potential. It makes them ideal to progress in Surf Foil, SUP Foil or Wing Foil. The 1200 and 1500 take advantage of their more compact shape to offer high-end maneuverability, they are made to carve seamless turns on the waves.
Built using the Monobloc construction with pre-preg carbon, the foils are both very light and really strong. This set-up offers better load transmission and better stiffness throughout the different parts for maximum control. The Titan connection allows to plug both an aluminum or carbon mast and the fuselage is split in two parts to facilitate transportation.
The Gravity 1800 wings are recommended with the C275 Surf stab. This stabiliser offers easy take-off and good directional stability for a secure feel which is perfect.
The F-One Gravity Carbon Plane comes complete with 75cm Alu mast as well as Titan Mast Foot and Mast top plate to make the full hydrofoil set up
TITAN CONNECTION
The TITAN connection enables a very stiff and direct connection between two parts, locking efficiently any movement in all directions.
Its format is compact which is hydrodynamically efficient and very easy to use, assemble and disassemble.
PRE-PREG
With Pre-preg fabrics, the carbon fiber is directly impregnated with epoxy resin by its manufacturer; this guarantees a perfect ratio between epoxy and carbon, and represents the highest quality process. Quality control is much better and so is the working environment for the people building our foils. Pre-Preg fabrics offer the lightest weight with the best mechanical properties of carbon fiber.
MONOBLOC STRUCTURE
Having a stiff and solid assembly between all the parts of the foil, is key to making it perform at its best as well as easy to handle. The connection of the front wing with the fuselage is highly stressed and loaded. It is one of the critical area of the assembly in terms of structures. The MONOBLOC wings are molded together with the fuselage in one shot. Thereby removing the connection and the chances for unwanted and parasitic movements. The structural fibers of the fuselage are spread into the wing to achieve the most natural, sound and light connection. It is also incredibly stiff and provide absolute control at all times, with the foil responding perfectly to all of the riders input. When the overall dimensions are too large for convenient transportation, a connection is set into the fuselage, behind the mast where the loads are smaller.
