It’s also an excellent choice for wave-riding with its light turning, stability, fast relaunch and heavily reinforced construction. Very solid in the sky, holds it shape even in gusty conditions making it perfect for the stronger wind days
The Shiva was the Delta-shaped kite offering from Flexifoil. It has medium-thick leading edge which gives the kite great structural stability, and is certainly built to last with full dacron wingtips, canopy sections and even a long strip of aramid along the LE tube. It comes with the tried and tested Flexifoil 1-pump system to help get you out and riding as quick as possible.
Very good condition with just a couple of small patches to cover tiny holes in the canopy
KITE FEATURES
Shiva is a new addition to the 2013 Flexifoil line of water relaunchable kites. As the guys at Flexifoil say, the Shiva is a totally new design and is the result of months of work by our design team. It sports an advanced hybrid design that makes it perfect for freeride, freestyle and wave riding. Actually, the Shiva excels when it comes to wave riding. It has an amazing amount of depower and superb drifting abilities. At the same time it is a forgiving kite which can easily accommodate beginner to advanced riders.
Superior ease of use, effortless relaunch, incredible turning speed and wind range are just a few of the features that make the Shiva a user friendly and fun to ride kite in a wide range of conditions. And f you add the fact that the kite is forgiving, yet solid and powerful, you get a perfect all-round machine. The Shiva features an open-C, hybrid design with delta influences.
This design assures a smooth power delivery plus a nice downwind drift, as well as huge depower. The medium diameter of the leading edge, combined with the tree strut configuration assures excellent stability. The kite features a front line bridle with 2 pulleys and a direct rear line attachment that assures a direct and precise control. The refined shape of the tips assures a quick turning speed and turning control.
A simple and efficient relaunch system pops the kite back in the air easily when needed. It has a light bar pressure, but feedback through the bar is precise. The Shiva delivers excellent lifts, feature that will make the freeride and freestyle fans love it. It can boost high jumps and lands very smooth. It is not a freestyle competition machine, but gives you good amounts of pop and has a very good unhooked performance.
