TECHNOLOGY
The fin base goes through the board and is secured on top by a thin box. The main innovation of this system is that the box does not need to be integrated into the board; rather the board is sandwiched between the fin RESPONSE and its box. As a result, our 3mm board thickness and its flex are left untouched.
With the UNIBOX system and its asymmetric profile, you gain in gliding efficiency and can start planning earlier. It improves the ride comfort as well thanks to the fins flex.
The F-one UNIBOX kiteboardfins are color coded on their base (red and green) to facilitate their assembly and respect the asymmetrical aspect. The matching color is also present inside the fin holes on the board. As a result, mounting the fins is really easy: red on red, green on green. The box part on top of the board can be mounted in either direction.
A notch has been added on the box so you can mount a board leash if you need to.

Choose the 45mm size for maximum grip while edging and taking off to boost. The 35mm size is perfect for freestyle riders using boots and for those looking for increased freedom while carving. Ozone V2 fins are precisely injection molded using advanced glass-filled nylon materials for high strength and wear resistance.
The fins are 140mm overall length at the longest point.
Complete with two M6 x 18mm stainless steel screws per fin spaced 37mm apart to fix them to your twin tip kitesurf board.
Available in three sizes, 33mm, 43mm and 53mm, this is measure from the base to the top of the fin, so height of the fin from the board when fitted.
33mm – This fin is the small freestyle fin from Shinn.
They are not found on the mainstream range and used as expert fins for those who want something super small to give a slippery feel
43mm – This is the standard fin that comes with most smaller Shinn boards such as the shorter monks and other freeride boards. A great all rounder length, perfect for all types of freeride kitesurfing.
53mm – This fin is the standard freeride fin from Shinn on the larger Monks and most mid sized mainstream boards. Still quite grippy they provide good lateral stability whilst still easy to break traction for stance changes and sliding to toe side.
Made from moulded Nylon in a yellow colour way, they are lighter and tougher than their predecessors, now standard issue on all Shinn boards

Replacement fins for the stock 53mm fins supplied with a new Shinnster board with 80mm fins set. These fins allow you to tune your ride for more of a traditional surfboard or directional board feel, offering more grip and carving abilities.
The 80mm Shinnster fins are made from G10 material, a high-pressure fiberglass laminate to provide the right mix of performance and durability.
Northcore Slice offer leading designs, performance templates, quality materials all produced using the latest manufacturing technology. The Slice S5 Futures fin is based upon the Futures F4 series. The F-ONE Futures Fins F4 437 (Thruster set) – Standart White fins made of composite have been developed to optimise the efficiency of our shapes.
The F4 Thermotech is a small sized thruster in the Neutral template category. Made in Huntington Beach, the Thermotech product line does not have the traditional plastic feel of a composite fin. Instead, they have a consistent flex that creates drive and release through turns. Thermotech fins come with the Futures Truss Base, making them lighter and stronger.
The F-One FLOW Fins Carbon have been developed to optimise the efficiency of our shapes.
Their outline, stiffness and profile were designed specifically for surfing with a kite, which means different requirements than for prone surfing.

The Airush Foil Skate V3 if you’re looking for a minimalist crossover solution, offers a twintip style construction in a foil board shape.

BOARD DETAILS
The foil skate is 100% twintip style construction. Palownia wood core, triaxial fiberglass top & bottom. This year we’ve added a full deck of EVA from nose to tail, rail to rail just to give a complete grip no matter where you stand on the board. The larger sizes comes complete with the 100 & 85ml fin pack. This allows the board to crossover for use as a trainer for people who have never used a directional board before and also allows it the use for light onshore wave conditions.

We’ve started using the Cross Kites Quattro in 2018 and have been really impressed with them. The build quality, materials and how they fly are comparable to much more expensive kites on the market. Cross Kites are the sister company of Peter Lynn which is a premium brand, so a lot of the technology & know how has also been carried over. They’re also built in the same factory and have the same distributor so the warranty is really good.
The Cross Quattro really is fantastic value for money, there’s nothing on the market which offers the quality this does for anywhere near the same price.
The Quattro uses the same Vector lines as the Peter Lynn range which have a high breaking strain of 200 / 100kg (front / back lines), which aren’t far off the strength of full kitesurfing lines!
Wind Range
Although all the kites will fly in next to no wind (4mph +) the weight of the user will have the biggest impact on how strong they can be used up to. Below is the suggested wing range but the age and weight does need to be taken into consideration.
The kites are aimed at children over 14 years old but younger children could use them with supervision. However, the Cross Kites Boarder would be a better choice

Kite Buggy & Landboard
The Cross Kites Quattro Power Kite can be used for static flying but is equally capable for kite buggying or kite landboarding. The 2.5, 3.5 or 4.5m would be best as these sports do require a little more power.
The kites come ready to fly with lines, kite killers (safety system), handles and kite.
The colour is fixed for each of the sizes.

We use the Peter Lynn Impulse Trainer TR in the school for our 1.5, 2 and 3m kites as it is really fun and easy to fly, is very stable and has a very tough high quality build plus it has the third line for super easy relaunch and self landing.

Innovative cross-vents. The profiles contain carefully placed cross-vents to ensure all the cells of the kite to fill with air quickly improving stability and (re)launch. Dirt channel & Velcro dirt-outs. Sand and dirt can easily be removed from the kite by using the Velcro dirt-outs in the wingtips. The dirt can move towards the tips via the dirt channel along the trailing edge.
Velcro bridle loop. The Velcro Bridle loop secures your bridle and prevents it from getting tangled when packing up.
Bar Features
Dyneema® Flying lines attached to the kite and bar. Dyneema® flying lines ensure minimum drag and stretch, making the kite more responsive. These high quality lines are already attached to the kite and bar, so you are ready to start flying right away!
Life line. The Impulse TR features a setup with two flying lines and a third centre line, called the Life line. This extra line makes a very easy relaunch possible and is part of the safety system.

Control
