Airush Razor V8 2019
The Razor is here for 2019 in its 8th Generation as Airush’s Performance Freestyle/Wakestyle kite.
Working closely with World Champion Alex Pastor we focused relentlessly on fine-tuning the performance characteristics of the Airush Razor. The 2019 Airush Razor V8 has specific focus on mind blowing pop, unhooked ability and kite looping. The Razor also features an incredible wind range and ease of use that exceeds expectations of a purist freestyle kite.
The all-new Airush Dyneema Load Frame V4 featuring WebTech has enabled us to further increase strength without an increase in weight.
WebTech expands our Dyneema Load Frame throughout the high load areas; like the wingtips. By utilizing the web fibers to absorb high loads it increases the durability and response rate of the kite further.
Key Features
Airush Load Frame V4 Featuring Webtech
The Airush Load Frame featuring WebTech has been the key to setting the ultimate benchmark in durability, without compromising on weight.
By expanding our exclusive Load Frame with WebTech throughout the areas normally occupied by Dacron, we are able to reduce or remove the heavier fabric and use the Ballistic high-modulus polyethylene web fibres instead to increase strength and reduce weight.
Technoforce D2
This premium fabric is used in conjunction with the Airush Load Frame for the ultimate combination of durability and performance. Ongoing testing has highlighted the lowest stretch and UV Stability, along with the highest long-term reliability of any fabric available.
5th Line Performance
The 5th line featured on the Razor is the only way to maximise the performance of a dedicated C-kite. The support from the 5th line allows for a finer leading edge, giving the Razor the ultimate combination of speed, pop and slack for unhooked tricks.
XL Inflate / Deflate Valve
The XL inflate/deflate valve features an insanely easy and fast way to inflate and deflate your kite. The large opening creates maximum flow of air and reduces fatigue and stress on your pump.
Turning Speed
The rear lines on the Razor affect turning speed of the kite. For example, by moving the rear lines towards the leading edge, the Razor becomes static and stable, perfect for wakestyle moves. Alternatively, moving the rear lines towards the trailing edge allows the razor to move extremely quick, perfect for boosting and kitelooping. The number of attachments vary based on Razor specific size.
Recycled Polyester Kite Bag
Around 36 billion plastic bottles are produced every year, and more than 30% of non-recycled plastics will end up in the rivers or oceans.
Waste 2 Wear recycle 100% post-consumer plastic bottles into eco-friendly fabrics. This unique process involves turning environmentally damaging waste into useable, sustainable yarns. The recycled yarns are then combined with natural fibers to be woven or knitted into eco-friendly fabrics so that they can be used for garments, home textiles and accessories.
